PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (September 25, 2019) – Wednesday, September 25, 2019 was filled with spectacular moments: from chapel service to begin the day, the afternoon quartet extravaganza featuring Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Inspirations, Kingdom Heirs and Triumphant Quartet, the 50th Anniversary of the Singing News Fan Awards and the evening concerts.
 
The Singing News Fan Awards are always a highlight of NQC week and this year's ceremony was no different as the magazine celebrated it's 50th Anniversary. CLICK HERE for the afternoon showcase and Singing News Fan Awards photo gallery.

Powerful testimonies and moving moments filled the evening concerts with performances by Carolina Quartet, The Erwins, High Road, Hoppers, The Isaacs, Jason Crabb, Jim & Melissa Brady, Joseph Habedank, Legacy Five, Mark Bishop, The Old Paths, The Perrys, Taylors, Tim Menzies, The Whisnants, 3 Heath Brothers, Mark Dubbeld Family, The Shireys, Troy Burns Family, Lindsey Graham, and The Lore Family.

Bill Bailey was the host of Wednesday evening's festivities.
NQC - the National Quartet Convention - continues until Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN. Over 40,000 people are expected to enjoy the concerts and festivities planned.

Coming up tomorrow, Thursday, September 26, 2019, C.T. Townsend speaks in Chapel service with Greater Vision providing special music. First Baptist Dallas Pastor Dr. Robert Jeffress will speak during a special matinee and Dennis Swanberg follows up with comedy showcase.

You won't want to miss The McKameys Tribute & Farewell as NQC celebrates their legacy and heritage – this is a must-see event.

NQC - the National Quartet Convention - was founded in 1957 by gospel music legend and former backup vocalist for Elvis Presley, J.D. Sumner who co-produced the event with James Blackwood. The annual convention was moved in later years to Nashville, TN and then to Louisville, KY where it was held for 20 years.
