LIBERTY-- Church growth is the biblical understanding that Jesus said, "I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."

The Liberty based Lighthouse Ministries Church, pastor-ed by the Rev. Dr. Rich and Rev.   The Bible-Based Christ Centered Pentecostal church has been housed for the past five years next door in the Triangle Plaza where they have seen steady growth for the 50 plus members and newcomers and are welcoming a new church sanctuary that will seat almost 100, a room for youth ministry and studies, a  soup kitchen, the food pantry (Joseph's Storehouse, outreaches to the Jewish, Gentile and Youth communities and additional church ministries that are on the planning board.

The new church building is undergoing minor renovations including painting and will have installed shortly a Baptistry for baptism services. Office and church headquarters will also be housed in the new church facility.

Since that time they have housed the Lighthouse Ministries Church activities at the Community Center at Foxcroft Village, at the Woodbourne Dutch Reformed Church and at their Neversink  home before locating their church in the 5 Triangle Road Liberty Triangle Plaza Mall in 2012.

The pastors had high praise for Albert Bitjeman the former owner of the building housing Albert's Steakhouse for his "outstanding supportive efforts in what we wanted to do and worked with us through the closing."
