THE NORTHEAST OUTDOOR SHOW COMES TO THE DUTCHESS COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS THIS WEEKEND
Rhinebeck, NY – The Northeast Outdoor Show returns to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds this weekend, Saturday May 19th from 9am till 5pm and Sunday May 20st from 9am till 4pm.
The Northeast Outdoor Show is a two day showcase that features everything outdoors from Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Biking, Recreational Vehicles, and more. “There’s something for the serious Sportsmen, casual Sportsmen, Family, & Kids. Plus, if you see something and you’d like to buy it, you can” says show manager Anthony Verano.
The event will feature over 150 different vendors from Kenco, Thruway Sporting Goods, Davis Sport Shop, Cabela’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods to Trout Unlimited, Bikeway Bicycles, Woodstock Harley-Davidson, Hunting Lodges throughout the Northeast and US, Local Rod and Gun Clubs and more!
Specific activities on site include the following:
- The NORTHEAST OUTDOOR SHOW LUMBERJACK CLASSIC. All weekend long the best in Timbersports will compete to see who is the grand champion! Each participant will compete in multiple challenges such as the Standing Chop, Springboard Chop, Underhand Chop, and Axe Throw just to name a few!
- Educational Exhibit from the TWO BY TWO ZOO featuring rescued and adopted animals such as Kangaroos, Lemurs, Turtles, Leopards and more!
- Deer Hunters can bring their mounted deer to the show to have them professionally scored by the Northeast Big Buck Club.
- TROUT FISHING POND with thanks to TEG Federal Credit Union. Kids and families will get to try out fishing for some trout in this special catch and release pond. The trout featured in this exhibit have been obtained through DEC approved sources.
- Camping World in Kingston will be presenting a massive RV SHOWCASE with over 40 Campers and Toy Haulers on display and for purchase.
- Romeo Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Romeo Ford, & Romeo Kia will also present a TRUCK AND SUV SHOWCASE. Check out all varieties of pickup trucks from Heavy Duties, Light Duties and everything in between.
- THE HAWG TROUGH, a 5,000 gallon fish tank will be on display filled with various fish and will be used as the back drop for the seminar area.
- All weekend long, SEMINARS will be presented by Sports Professionals. Special guests will include “The Deer Doctor” Peter Fiduccia, Fly Fishing Pro Staff from Kenco, “New Yorks First Family of Deer Hunting” The Salerno Brothers, Kate Montgomery featuring a Women of Hunting seminar and the Bass Professionals from the Hawg Trough.
- THE ULTIMATE AIR DOGS & THE HUDSON RIVER AIR DOGS will be featured all weekend long at the event. Local and regional dogs will compete in dock jumping competitions.
- Northern Dutchess Archery and Sportsmen Supply will be featuring 7 lanes of ARCHERY SHOOTING, so attendees can try before they buy with a special lane just for kids!
- The local 4H group will be presenting a special AIR GUN RANGE.
- There will be a RECREATIONAL VEHICLE DEMO AREA featuring Teixeira’s Polaris and Woodstock Harley-Davidson. Woodstock Harley-Davidson will have on site the brand new Intimidator UTV, the official UTV of the Northeast Outdoor Show!
- Bikeway Bicycles will be on site with a display and a special demo course so you can try before you buy!
- Davis Sport Shops will also be hosting a HUGE AMMO SALE. Rifle , pistol , shotgun ammo and 22's galore will all be at great prices. Federal, CCI , American Eagle , Hornaday and Browning will all be at unbelievable values.
- Missy Runyan from the Friends of the Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center will be on site with rescued birds of prey!
- Wildman Jack Reptile encounters will be on site with special REPTILE SHOWS all weekend long! See Anacondas, Giant Tortoise, Lizards, Albino Python, and Alligators.
- The Sheriff’s Department and the DEC will be doing K9 demonstrations all weekend.
- The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will have their ATV and setup display all weekend long and law enforcement staff will be on site to answer your questions.
- There will be a wide variety of food vendors on site including a beer garden thanks to Dutchess Beer Distributors.
Tickets to the Northeast Outdoor Show are $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 12 through 16, and FREE to those under 12. For those serious Sportsmen, there are weekend passes available for $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
On Sunday, the Northeast Outdoor Show is proud to announce with the help of our sponsors Woodstock Harley-Davidson and the New York National Guard, that all Veterans, Active Military, Police, EMT’s, and Firefighters will be offered a special discounted $10 admission ticket when purchased at the gate.

The Northeast Outdoor Show is a joint venture between Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley and the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, and is a rain or shine event.
