FALL EVENT GALLERY LINE-UP
Eclectic Talent Includes John Waite, The Drifters, and the Return of the Bradstan Cabaret Series and Bluest Festival

BETHEL, NY (June 2, 2016) –  Bethel Woods Center for the Arts continues to grow and diversify programming held in its most intimate venue – the indoor Event Gallery. This fall, The Event Gallery Concert Series will present John Waite and the Axeman with special guest Leslie Dinicola on September 24; Blues Festival at Bethel Woods on October 29; and the Drifters on November 5. Plus, the beloved Bradstan Cabaret Series returns with three unique performances featuring Lee Lessack & Johnny Rodgers on September 17, Jarrod Spector & Kelli Barrett on October 15, and Liz Callaway on November 19.

Countless musicians of far lesser accomplishment have probably made similar statements regarding their own personal creative process, but when the confession comes from John Waite – whose been successfully writing, recording and performing some of the most listenable, enduring and appreciated popular music for more than 35 years – one cannot help but both recognize and marvel at the shimmering legacy of this British born rock star. Tickets go on-sale Friday, June 3 at 10:00 AM for $50.00 & $60.00 for Reserved Seating. A VIP ticket is available for $145.00 and includes a meet and greet, tickets in the first two rows, personalized autographed lyrics of “Missing You” and a photo with John.

Curator Fred Scribner, a former member of the Levon Helm Band and known as the driving force behind Little Sammy Davis. He was inducted into the New York Blues Hall Of Fame on May 4, 2015. More information about on-sale date and pricing information to be announced soon.

The Drifters

Once again the Treadwell family will be coming out of retirement to put together an historic reunion at US facilities as THE DRIFTERS return to their roots with their latest American tour.  It's been a while since the group toured the country but they are gearing up for a monumental celebration of their 50 year catalogue in support of their new album, The Drifters Salute the Great American Songbook Live. “Up on the Roof,” “Under the Boardwalk,” “This Magic Moment,” “There Goes My Baby,” “Dance with Me,”  “Spanish Harlem,” “Stand by Me,” the list of hits goes on and on. Tickets go on-sale Friday, June 3 at 10:00 AM for $62.00 for Reserved Seating.

About the Bradstan Cabaret Series:
The fourth annual return of The Bradstan Cabaret curated by Scott Samuelson and presented in collaboration with Bethel Woods Center for the Arts marks a dedication to continuing the longstanding cabaret tradition in Sullivan County and the Catskills. Historically, the Bradstan Country Hotel hosted the performances, but moved the location to Bethel Woods in 2013.  Tickets for the Bradstan Cabaret Series feature reserved cabaret-style table seating for $70.00 per show and are on-sale now.

Lee Lessack & Johnny Rodgers: Live in Central Park (Revisited) – Simon & Garfunkel

A celebration of historical, iconic concert events from New York’s Central Park, re-created using bona fide set-lists. These are not impressions or impersonation; but a re-visit with the music that made these nights magical. Featuring award-winning singers Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers, Joe Ravo on guitar and Johnny Rodgers on piano and guitar, plus with bass and drums.

This new 2016 show by Tony-nominated Jarrod Spector (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Jersey Boys) and his wife Kelli Barrett (Wicked, Dr. Zhivago) celebrate the iconic Broadway shows they’ve starred in. The concert features pop favorites and iconic songs from Broadway musicals.

Liz Callaway
Saturday November 19 at 8:00pm
Liz Callaway is a Tony nominee and Emmy Award-winning actress, singer and recording artist. She made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along, received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Baby, and for five years, won acclaim as Grizabella in Cats. She has also starred in the original casts of Miss Saigon, The Three Musketeers, and The Look of Love.
