BETHEL, NY (March 8, 2019) – Today, two-time GRAMMY-nominated blues-rock titan Joe Bonamassaannounces his new US Summer tour dates for 2019 in support of his all-original studio albumRedemption (J&R Adventures) which was released last September. The tour will stop at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival in Bethel, NY on July 30th for a pavilion-only concert.

Backed by a stellar band of legendary musicians including Late Night with David Letterman’s Anton Fig(drums), Nashville recording legend Michael Rhodes (bass), and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and member of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Reese Wynans (piano/organ), Paulie Cerra (sax), Lee Thornburg (trumpet), and featuring soulful background singers to bring a whole new life to the show which will feature brand new songs alongside career-spanning favorites.

The calendar of year-long programming begins on March 30th with the re-opening of The Museum at Bethel Woods featuring the 2019 Special Exhibit We Are Golden: Reflections on the 50th Anniversary of The Woodstock Festival & Aspirations for a Peaceful Future, wherein the desires of the youth of 1969 are examined, the festival is placed in the context of the positive societal changes it inspired and then asks today's youth what THEY desire of the world now.
