BETHEL WOODS CENTER FOR THE ARTS ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP FOR 2019 WITH
THE KARTRITE RESORT & INDOOR WATERPARK
BETHEL, NY (March 29, 2019) – Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is pleased to welcome The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark as the official sponsor of The Family Zone -  an area of lawn seating designed to create an enjoyable concert experience for families and the youngest of concert-goers.

Set for its grand opening on April 19, the team at The Kartrite is working diligently to guarantee a memorable guest experience for families.  “It’s important to us to engage our neighbors in order to continue to drive awareness for Sullivan County among both leisure and group markets, and have a positive impact on the local economy,” said Kartrite General Manager David Kohlasch.  “For visitors to the area, we hope they’ll experience all the destination has to offer.”

Creating a space where families can engage in the arts together is central to Bethel Woods’ mission, making their partnership with the modern family resort apt.  “The desire to positively impact our community and create a space for families to spend quality time together is held at the core of our organization,” said Darlene Fedun, Chief Executive Officer for Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. “We are thrilled to work with others who strive to do the same.”

The Family Zone is free of smoking, alcoholic beverages and standing. All are welcome and no special ticket is required in addition to a concert ticket. The zone is first come, first serve and does have limited capacity.

Pavilion concerts are just one part of Bethel Woods’ Season of Song & Celebration, which promises a uniquely memorable experience for those who journey to the historic site to celebrate the legacy of the greatest festival of all time.  The calendar of year-long programming begins on March 30th with the re-opening of The Museum at Bethel Woods featuring the 2019 Special Exhibit We Are GoldenReflections on the 50th Anniversary of The Woodstock Festival & Aspirations for a Peaceful Future.
