Rumble Ponies & Fisher Cats Postponed Again
MANCHESTER, NH – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies game against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Friday night has been postponed due to poor field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday. The first pitch of the twin bill is scheduled for 5:35 PM.
The postponements on Thursday and Friday mark the first time since 2007 the Binghamton franchise failed to play their first two scheduled games of the season. That season, the Binghamton Mets’ first three games against the Akron Aeros were postponed due to snow and extreme cold.
The Horizons Federal Credit Union Pregame Show can be heard on Saturday starting at 5:20 PM on Newsradio 1290 WNBF and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies channel on TuneIn.
Following their season-opening road trip, the Rumble Ponies will kick off a new era of professional baseball in the Southern Tier with their home opener on Thursday, April 13 against the Erie SeaWolves. Tickets for the game and Binghamton’s entire home schedule can be purchased at the NYSEG Stadium box office, online on and over the phone at (607) 722-FUNN
