RITCHIE ALLEN RELIES ON
EBONITE MISSION AND HAMMER
TABOO TO QUALIFY FOR
WSOB CHEETAH CHAMPIONSHIP

Using an Ebonite Mission and Hammer Taboo, Ritchie Allen bowled a 2,216 nine-game pinfall round in match play Monday to earn the No. 2 qualifying position for Friday’s stepladder finals of the Brunswick Pro Bowling Cheetah Championship as the PBA World Series of Bowling began its second week at South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas.Allen, a two-time Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour titlist from Columbia, S.C., had games of 237, 253, 211, 184, 279, 279, 258, 259 and 256 to average 246.2 for the round.“I started with the Mission which was the right choice for me for the first few games because it gave me a strong, consistent reaction on fresher conditions,” Allen said. “As the block went on I had to move left and hook around the oil so I went to the Hammer Taboo which has more flare and hooked harder on the backend.”The Brunswick Pro Bowling Cheetah Championship stepladder finals will be conducted at 9 a.m. Pacific at South Point Bowling Center Nov. 5 for delayed airing on ESPN on Sunday, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m. Eastern. The PBA World Series of Bowling included a starting field of 252 men and women representing 14 countries.About Ebonite International Ebonite International is a privately-owned company that services bowling centers, distributors and retail outlets domestically and internationally.
