COLUMBIA 300 OUTBURST
STRIKES AGAIN FOR CHRIS
BARNES IN WSOB CHAMELEON

Thirteen-time Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour Champion and 2007-08 Player of the Year Chris Barnes used his Columbia 300 Outburst in Tuesday’s Chameleon Championship match play round en route to qualifying third for Friday’s stepladder finals at South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas. In match play Barnes qualified third for Friday’s stepladder finals, compiling a 5-4 match play record and 2,028 pinfall for a 225.3 average. PBA Rookie Scott Norton and Wes Malott captured the one-two berths in the stepladder finals.“I used the Outburst drilled with a two-inch pin,” Barnes said. “It’s a low RG ball with an aggressive cover which enables me to get a smooth consistent roll. It was really the first opportunity where I could play outside on the lane where I like to play. It gave me an advantage over a lot of the other players who were playing inside.” Barnes, who also qualified fourth for the PBA World Championship finals which will be conducted at the South Point Jan. 14, 15 and 16, will compete in the stepladder finals of the Chameleon Championship Friday, Nov. 5, at 3:30 p.m. The Chameleon finals will air on ESPN Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. Eastern.
