Sr. World Long Drive Champion Dan Boever
Golf Show Set For Feb. 26-28

Dan Boever, the 2008 RE/MAX Sr. World Long Drive Champion will be one of the featured stage events at the 13th Annual New Jersey Golf Show Feb. 26-28 at the Garden State Exhibit Center, 50 Atrium Drive, Somerset, NJ
The show is a popular mid-winter break for many New York and Tri-County area golfers and also is a showcase for several area golf facilities.
Boever is a regular on Golf Channel's "Amazing Golf Videos" and is a 14 time Wold Long Drive Finalist--1996 to present.
His longest competitive drive to date is 473 yards and Dan has performed in over 800 power golf shows since 1997.
Boever has also driven a golf ball 336 yards with a putter and has recorded 3 holes in one over 330 yards. Dan was a member of the All-American Baseball team in 1983, graduated from the University of Nebraska and played pro-baseball with the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians. Dan and others will be appearing the weekend of February 26-28 at this show which is tabbed as a consumer golf exposition, in a three-day "Golf Theme Park" that features a wide array of displays, demonstrations and interactive activities designed to educate and entertain the golf enthusiast.
Upwards of 200 booths with exhibitors from across the country are expected to attend and will offer for sale the latest in golf equipment and accessories as well as golf apparel, artwork, real estate, destination packages and much, much more.
Numerous participatory activities will also be available for golfers of all skill levels. There will be a long-drive championship, the BirdieBall Chipping challenge, a Long-Putt Competition, a $25,000 Closest To The Pin contest and a demo range where you can swing, hit and compare the latest clubs.
The hours for the show are Friday 2-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $10 adults, $9 seniors and free to 12 and under youth.
The show is staged and managed by North Coast Golf Show President Joe Stegh.
