YES Network’s “Homegrown” Series Premieres Tonight
New Series Provides Fans Unique Access to the SWB RailRiders
Moosic, Pa. – Catch the SWB RailRIders (Triple-A/ New York
Yankees) like you have never seen before! Tonight the YES Network will
premiere its new docu-series, Homegrown: The Path to Pinstripes at 11 p.m. ET (after its Blue Jays-Yankees post-game show). Homegrown provides Yankees and RailRiders fans alike an unparalleled look at New York’s top affiliate.
The show will depict the on-field development, and the lifestyles and
personalities of the RailRiders, the reigning Triple-A National
Champions. Homegrown will present the players, coaching staff
and others on and off the field: in the clubhouse, the dugout, the
front office, in their homes, on the road and elsewhere, fully capturing
the minor league experience.
The
2016 Gildan Triple-A National Champion RailRiders hit the road for a
three-game series against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Tuesday, May 2.
First pitch at Coca-Cola Park is set for 7:05 p.m. Right-hander Luis Cessa (1-2,
1.54) will oppose right-hander Mark Appel (1-2, 6.11). SWB returns home
next Thursday, May 5, with a 6:35 p.m. first pitch for Glow in the Park
