RailRiders Top Red Wings in Extras
Mark Payton Singles Home Game-Winner in Eleventh

– The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/ New York Yankees) earned their third
walk-off victory of the week on Saturday afternoon, besting the
Rochester Red Wings 5-4 in 11 innings. The RailRiders (23-17) improved to 4-1 on the homestand while dropping the Red Wings to 19-18 overall.
Ben Heller (2-3) took home the win after tossing two perfect innings with a pair of strikeouts. Tyler Webb also turned in a dominant relief effort, allowing two hits over three frames with six strikeouts.
The RailRiders loaded the bases against D.J. Baxendale (0-1) thanks to three walks in the last of the 11th. Eddy Rodriguez worked the third base on balls to bring up Mark Payton. The right fielder then delivered a single over the head of Niko Goodrum in right to score pinch runner Rob Refsnyder for the victory.
SWB knocked three homers in the first two innings. Dustin Fowler launched a two-run shot out to right for his sixth of the season and Mike Ford followed with his fourth in five days one batter later for a 3-0 lead. Cito Culver boomed his sixth round-tripper of the year out to right in the second for a 4-1 advantage.

series with the Rochester Red Wings (Minnesota Twins) at 1:05 p.m. on
Sunday, May 21, inside PNC Field. Right-hander Bryan Mitchell (0-1, 4.00) gets the nod for SWB against southpaw Nik Turley (0-1, 1.50).
