Rodriguez Homers Twice, RailRiders Rally for Win
SWB Claimed Sixth Straight Win at PNC Field
Moosic, Pa. –
The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/ New York Yankees) rallied from a pair of
two-run deficits to stun the Pawtucket Red Sox 9-8 on Wednesday night at
PNC Field. The RailRiders (21-16) have won five straight overall and
six in a row at home. The PawSox (15-20) absorbed their seventh
consecutive defeat.

(1-3) struck out the final two batters he faced to strand the tying run
at third and notched his first win of the season. The right-hander
allowed two runs on two hits in two innings of relief. The loss went to
Noe Ramirez (0-1), who suffered his first blown save in 2017.
Eddy Rodriguez proved the hero for the second time in three days, bashing a pair of two-run homers out to left. His first of the night tied the game at six in the sixth. His second pushed the RailRiders outfront 9-8 in the last of the eighth.
Mike Ford bashed his second homer in as many days and Clint Frazier tallied a pair of hits and an RBI. Rob Refsnyder extended his hitting streak to 17 games with a pair of knocks, including a run-scoring double in the third.

Thursday, May 18, from PNC Field. Right-hander Domingo German is
expected to be called up to make his debut with SWB against
