Gooden’s Appearance Moved to Thursday, July 7

“Doc” to Make a PNC Field House Call One Day Early

 

Moosic, Pa. – The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/ New York Yankees) have moved Dwight “Doc” Gooden’s “Legends Series” appearance at PNC Field to Thursday, July 7. Gooden was originally set to appear on Friday, July 8, but had to adjust his schedule due to a family emergency.

The RailRiders will honor tickets for Friday’s game on Thursday night when the team takes on the Buffalo Bisons at 7:05 p.m. Fans may show their tickets for Friday’s game at the PNC Field box office to receive one of equal or lesser value Thursday night, while also allowing them to attend Friday’s game.

”Due to the change in the schedule we would like to honor all Friday night tickets for both Thursday and Friday night’s games.  Fans can bring their Friday night ticket to Thursday and receive a ticket comparable to Friday’s ticket free of charge and still use Friday’s ticket as regular scheduled”, said Josh Olerud, chief operating officer of the RailRiders.

Friday night’s game against the Rochester Red Wings will feature “Glow in the Park Night” with the RailRiders donning their glow-in-the-dark uniforms and postgame fireworks, presented by Jack Williams Tire. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

As part of the series, legendary figures in Yankees and NEPA sports history will appear during select RailRiders’ home games at PNC Field. The following is the remaining schedule for the 2016 Legends Series and the confirmed special guests for each game:
