Syracuse Mets and OF Tim Tebow at PNC Field April 26-28
Former Heisman Trophy winner will be available to media April 26 at 4:00 p.m.

MOOSIC, PA (April 26, 2019) – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, return to PNC Field Friday to open a seven-game homestand. The RailRiders play the Syracuse Mets through Sunday, and are passing along media instructions on their behalf for members of the press planning on covering the Mets outfielder Tim Tebow this weekend.

Tebow coordinates with the Mets Media Relations staff to select a day that works best for him and the team to field questions from the local media in a larger group setting.
The date, time and location of this weekend’s scrum at PNC Field is as follows:
Friday, April 26  |  4:00 PM  | Visiting dugout at PNC Field (First base side)
Given today’s forecast, the time and location of the scrum can be fluid, as it is planned in conjunction with the Mets on-field batting practice schedule. We strongly recommend all interested media members arrive at PNC Field and assemble in the press box behind home plate by 3:30 p.m. to be ready for any adjustments in the schedule.

Individual interviews with Tebow will not be taking place at this time. If interested in a 1-on-1 interview with Tebow when the Syracuse Mets return to PNC Field June 7-9 please reach out to Michael Tricarico (mtricarico@syracusemets.com) in advance so the request can be passed along to Tebow and his publicist.

With any additional questions about the structure of this weekend’s media availability, please reach out to agiardino@swbrailriders.com. All policies regarding the RailRiders home availability for the weekend remain unaffected.
