Wade Doubles Twice in Loss to IronPigs
Eddy Rodriguez Belts Eighth Homer

The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/ New York Yankees) lost a late lead on
Friday night and fell to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs 5-3 at Coca-Cola
Park. The RailRiders slipped to 86-52. The IronPigs (77-62) have won
four of the last five meetings with SWB.
Brady Lail pitched
around three hits and four walks to keep the IronPigs scoreless for six
innings. The RailRiders grabbed the first run of the game in the third
when Donovan Solano drove in Mason Williams with a single to left. Eddy Rodriguez clubbed a moonshot to left in the seventh for his eighth homer and a 2-0 lead.
Lehigh Valley rallied in the bottom of seventh against J.P. Feyereisen (2-3).
Christian Marrero blooped a two-run single down the right field line
following a walk and two-out error. Dylan Cozens followed two batters
later with a three-run shot to right for a 5-2 lead.
SWB got a run back in the bottom of the eighth thanks to a double by Ji-Man Choi and
a run-scoring single from Williams. Pedro Beato recorded the final four
outs for his 31st save and Michael Mariot (7-2) retired one batter,
taking home the win in relief.
Tyler Wade reached base four times with a walk, catcher’s interference and two doubles, finishing 2-for-3.
