The prediction that the John A. Coleman Catholic girls varsity basketball team was a well oiled machine proved to be correct Friday night Feb. 3 at SUNY New Paltz in the Class C final as the Stateswomen defeated the Tri-Valley Lady Bears 56-28. Coleman's height advantage and stingy defense proved to be just too much for Tri-Valley. Coleman's tough defense contributed to many of the Bears turnovers. Tri-Valley finishes the season with an 18-2 record losing only this game and a regular season loss to Tuxedo. A good season Tri-Valley and great coaching by John Tenbus. Photos are from Friday nights game include game pictures, the large Tri-Valley crowd, andthe new Tri-Valley "Bears Den" cheering section.
