TURSI TOURNEY CHAMPIONS

Champions of the 7th Annual Art Tursi Memorial Scholarship Tournament held August 7 at the Liberty Sullivan County Golf & Country Club are Jeff Simpson, Justin Green, John Schnyder and Jim Green. Their winning score was a 59. Some 112 golfers helped to contribute $1,000 scholarships which will go to four Liberty Central High School Seniors Class of 2010 including Calvin Henry, Guadalupe Perez, Jeni Stolow and Zakary Walizadeh. Tournament directors Denise Watson and Joan and Mike Tursi thank all the volunteers, hole sponsors, M & M Ford for sponsoring a car for the hole-in-one contest, the golf club and everyone who donated prizes.
