Winners of the 2019 Pinstripe Pals Program Announced

Ten local baseball/softball programs to receive package to enhance 2019 season

MOOSIC, PA (March 15, 2019) – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A, New York Yankees) are excited to announce the 10 winners in this year’s Pinstripe Pals program, presented by Maines Food and Party Warehouse. These programs were selected from a pool of dozens of applicants who will be sponsored by the RailRiders for the 2019 season.

“It’s always such a tough decision to pick the winners among so many deserving recipients,” said Jordan Maydole, RailRiders Director of Community Relations. “We are excited to be able to work hand-in-hand with these 10 programs to make their upcoming year the best it can be. Their essays really highlighted what it means to create and foster a strong community through baseball and softball.”

Winners of this program receive $500 from the SWB Pinstripes Foundation, a $500 gift card from Maines Food and Party Warehouse for their concessions stand, the opportunity to honor their league at a RailRiders game including a pre-game parade on the field, and taking the field with the RailRiders pre-game as the Field of Dreams team, and the opportunity for RailRiders assistance with league fundraising and a photo of the league will also be shown in the GuideRail gameday program.
