BPAA TO HONOR JAMIE BROOKS WITH PRESIDENT’S AWARD
ARLINGTON, Texas – The Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA) is proud to announce Jamie Brooks as the 2019 President’s Award recipient.
Brooks, who started in the bowling business in 1955 and has owned 43 bowling centers over the course of his career, now calls Plano Super Bowl his home center. The center underwent a major renovation a few years ago, creating a hybrid-conventional bowling center with new, trendy family entertainment center features.
Brooks is being recognized for his exceptional support and significant contributions to not only the association, but the entire industry. While his knowledge about the industry is impressive, it is his passion that inspires so many of the people who meet him.
“Jamie has been an inspiration to me for many years,” said BPAA President Randy Thompson, who selected Brooks for the honor. “He freely shares his knowledge about how we can become better in our industry, in life and in leadership with BPAA.”
The Bowling Industry Service Awards will be presented at the Annual Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, during International Bowl Expo 2019 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
