Dormie Network, a national network of private destination golf clubs, joined the LPGA family in June of 2019 as an Official Marketing Partner with the goal of helping the LPGA in its efforts to grow the game. The no-cost events offer instruction on the fundamentals of golf in a fun and safe environment with a focus on the 5 E's of LPGA*USGA Girls Golf: Empower, Enrich, Engage, Exercise, and Energize. Open to girls aged 6 to 17 with an interest in golf, the event features activities such as Golfzilla, chipping and putting games as well as lively personalized drawings by local caricature artists. “We are so excited for our second annual LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Day at beautiful Ballyhack Golf Club,” said Jennifer Blackwood, Site Director for Girls Golf of Roanoke, VA. “We are looking forward to another memorable afternoon that supports girls' interest in the game.” “We are so excited to participate in this event at Hidden Creek Golf Club,” said Pam Boccaccio, Program Director for First Tee — Jersey Shore. “One of our key mission points at First Tee Jersey Shore is to support and nurture Girls Golf.
