BOWLING HIGHLIGHTS

 Pedro Strikes Again

Monticello bowler Pedro Agapito III is one of the masters of the lanes at Kiamesha Lanes but he knows their are challenging lanes beyond Sullivan County that he would like to conquer.
Friday the 13th was not an unlucky day for Pedro as he recorded another of his favorite 300 games in the Friday Mixed league at Kiamesha Lanes.
His night started off with a 228, then came the 300 and he ended the night with a 212 for a 740 series.
Noted for his bowling skills, 300 games and 800 series and some pretty hefty averages Pedro is definitely looking towards what his bowling talents can produce.     Recently becoming a new daddy, Pedro noted to us that "I have not looked into expanding my bowling yet as I'm just focusing on local leagues and my son for now but will be looking into doing tournaments soon."
We know that Pedro can't wait for his son Jaylen to grow to the age when he can introduce him to a bowling ball and the great sport of bowling.
Most recently Pedro has been riding the 300 and 800  bandwagon that started on September 27 in the  Kiamesha Lanes Friday Mixed league and his  recent highlights included a 300 and 800 series that was put in the books on October 21 with scores of 248, 255, 300, 803 on lanes 13-14 in the Kiamesha Lanes Monday Men's league.
Pedro said the December 13 score was bowled on lanes 13-14 with a 900 Global Volt bowling ball. He also has in his bowling arsenal a 900 Global Ordnance Pearl bowling ball that has been a big part of his recent success on the lanes.
And he noted that all the strikes in his recent 300 "were in the pocket."
Bowling for some 15 years, Pedro bowls four nights a week, Monday Men's and Friday Mixed at Kiamesha, Wednesday at Port Jervis Bowl and Thursday at Chester.
His current average for all leagues is 209 at Port Jervis Bowl, 244 at Colonial Lanes in Chester and 249 and 250 at Kiamesha Lanes.
Engaged to Angela Scott, Pedro is employed by Rolling V Bus and Sureway Taxi.
