2019 PBA PLAYER, ROOKIE OF THE YEAR TO BE ANNOUNCED ON DECEMBER 11
Balloting is underway among PBA members and veteran bowling writers to select the 2019 Chris Schenkel PBA Player of the Year and the Harry Golden PBA Rookie of the Year. The winners, along with the 2019 Steve Nagy Sportsmanship Award winner and recipient of the PBA Tony Reyes Community Service Award, will be announced by PBA CEO Colie Edison and PBA Commissioner Tom Clark during a special presentation show on FloBowling that can be watched live on PBA’s Facebook page, FloBowling.com and all FloBowling’s social media channels page on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 4 p.m. EST from FloSports headquarters in Austin, Texas.

Player of the Year candidates, all 2019 title winners, in alphabetical order, are: England’s Dom Barrett; Australia’s Jason BelmonteJakob Butturff of Tempe, Ariz.; Norm Duke of Clermont, Fla.; Bill O’Neill of Langhorne, Pa.; Kris Prather of Plainfield, Ill.; Sean Rash of Montgomery, Ill.; Kyle Sherman of O’Fallon, Mo.; Anthony Simonsen of Little Elm, Texas, and EJ Tackett of Bluffton, Ind.

Rooke of the Year candidates, also listed in alphabetical order, are Mike Coffey of Melbourne, Fla.; Michael Davidson of Versailles, Ohio; Patrick Hanrahan of Wichita, Kan.; Mykel Holliman of Collierville, Tenn.; Kenneth Ryan of Farmingdale, N.J., and Greg Young of Viera, Fla.

The Nagy Sportsmanship Award winner is selected by PBA Tour players who have participated in at least 50 percent of the tournaments held in the current calendar year. The Reyes Award recipient is selected by a special panel of PBA leaders.
