The 71st Mitchell Family Reunion was held July 4 at the picnic grounds of the Eastern Correctional Facility in Napanoch. The once a year event saw some 85 members of the family gathered for fun, games, food and fellowship. Sullivan County family members included the Tom Mitchell family , Tom and Kim Nash, Don and Loretta Ackerley, Petrina and Rich Kavleski, Mark Mitchell, Craig and Debbie Terbush and Greg and Debbie Botsford. Other family members from Collins, NY, Guilderland, NY, Napanoch, NY, Accord, NY and Yorktown, NY were in attendance.
This family gathering started in 1947 as a camping trip.
