Rumble Ponies Release 2017 Promotional Schedule

Binghamton, NY – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies have elevated their promotional schedule to a new level with a 2017 schedule full of fun, family-oriented, affordable nights. With tributes to The Twilight Zone, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and a Salute To Macaroni and Cheese, many of the nights are sure to entertain the Southern Tier all summer long in Rumble Town.
The promotional schedule will be highlighted by 15 Toyota Fireworks Series shows, 9 entertainment acts, 8 giveaways, and 1 post-game concert.
This year, fans will have the chance to vote on colors and/or music to be featured during the Toyota Fireworks Series. Every Friday night (excluding April 14^th) fireworks will light up the skies around the Southern Tier (May 12^th, May 26^th, June 2^nd, June 16^th, June 30^th, July 7^th, July 28^th, July 18^th, and September 1^st). Special firework shows will be featured on Opening Night (April 13^th), Memorial Day Eve ( May 28^th), Independence Eve (July 3^rd), Labor Day Eve (September 3^rd), and Thursday, August 10^th, which will feature a special Irish themed fireworks show. Big Bang Boom Firework Shows will return to NYSEG stadium on Monday, July 3^rd and Sunday, September 4^th.
Fans can also expect to see fan favorite entertainment acts returning from 2016, such as X-Pogo Stunt Team (June 3^rd), BirdZerk (July 8^th), Zooperstars (July 9^th), Elvis Tribute Artist Jeff Krick (July 28^th), and Mr. Met (July 29^th). New entertainment acts include appearances by Paw Patrol (June 4^th), Minion Characters (June 15^th), and many more family-friendly entertainment options.
Included in the schedule are at least eight giveaways, such as:

·         April 14^th – 2017 Magnetic Schedule presented by Bright Smiles of New York            (First 1,00 Fans)
·         May 27^th – Camoflague Rumble Ponies Cap (First 1,000 Fans)
·         June 30^th – Nightmare Before Christmas Shirt (First 1,000 Fans)
·         July 1^st – Noah “Santagaard” Garden Gnome (First 1,000 Fans)
·         August 19^th – Duffel Bag presented by Lockheed Martin (First 1,000 Fans)
·         September 2^nd – Rumble Ponies Mascot Bobblehead (First 1,000 Fans)
·         September 4^th - 2018 Magnetic Schedule presented by Bright Smiles of New            York (First 1,00 Fans)

The Rumble Ponies will feature 5 specialty jerseys in 2017:

·         May 12^th – Do It For Daron “Purple Ponies” Jersey
·         July 7^th – Twilight Zone Tribute
·         August 10^th – Irish Heritage
·         September 3^rd – Star Wars
The schedule also features several theme nights at NYSEG Stadium this season. Highlighted nights include: Macaroni and Cheese night (April 28^th), Salute Our Soldiers (May 27^th), Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock – A Big Bang Theory Tribute (June 8^th), The Nightmare Before Christmas (June 30^th), Christmas In July (July 1^st), A Night In The Twilight Zone (July 7^th), Happy Birthday Harry Potter (July 30^th), A League Of Their Own – A Tribute to Women in Sports (August 18^th), Luau Night (September 1^st), and Star Wars Night (September 3^rd).
After a successful Bark In The Park last summer, the Rumble Ponies welcome fans to bring their dogs to the ballpark on four dates in 2017: June 4^th, July 17^th, August 21^st, and August 28^th.
The 2^nd Annual Baseball Card and Collectibles show returns Sunday, July 2^nd with autograph guest, former New York Mets outfielder, Darryl Strawberry. Autograph information and VIP ticket packages will be announced at a future date.
A special night on the Rumble Ponies promotional schedule is No Devices Night on Tuesday, July 18^th. For one night, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies are encouraging their fans to take a pledge to turn off their devices and converse with friends and family while enjoying a Rumble Ponies game. Binghamton Rumble Ponies owner John Hughes has pledged to purchase dinner for the first 20 families that call and purchase a table at one of our group seating areas, saying, “What better way to spend quality time with friends and family than sitting at a dinner table at NYSEG Stadium with one another talking about how the day went. I want to encourage families to be more active in the moments that matter with the people that matter. Wait until they see the desert.”
